This Privacy Policy explains how Japan Moves (“we,” “this site”), operated at japanmoves.com, handles information when you visit the site or contact us.

Information you provide. If you contact us through the contact form, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site collects certain technical data through cookies and similar technologies: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate location (country/region level). Some articles contain affiliate links. Any transaction happens directly between you and that external site under its own terms and privacy policy — Japan Moves is not a party to the transaction and does not receive your booking or payment details.

6. Multilingual features
This site uses WPML to serve content in multiple languages. A cookie may be used to remember your language preference.

Inquiry emails and form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period: 12 months. Analytics data retention follows Google Analytics 4’s retention settings; see Google’s documentation for details.
8. Sharing of information
We share information only with the service providers necessary to run this site, such as our hosting provider and the analytics service described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
9. International visitors
This site is operated from Japan and information is processed in accordance with Japanese law, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. If you access the site from other jurisdictions, data may be transferred to and processed in Japan and in the countries where our service providers (such as Google) operate.
